Dr. Ņikita Šakels

Dr Ņikita Šakels is a certified psychiatrist and addiction specialist, Chief Physician at HomeMed&Care, a board member of the Latvian Psychiatric Association and a member of the Latvian Association of Addiction Specialists. His professional work covers acute psychiatry, addiction medicine, outpatient and inpatient treatment, private consultations, psychopharmacotherapy and psychotherapy-oriented care. His clinical experience includes psychosis, severe anxiety and depressive disorders, affective instability, addictions and crisis conditions. In private practice, Dr Šakels takes an individual approach that combines modern psychiatry with psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural counselling. Dr Nataļja Postņikova is a certified HomeMed&Care dermatologist and venereologist specialising in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of skin, hair and nail conditions, as well as sexually transmitted infections. She treats a broad range of dermatological conditions, including acne, rosacea, atopic and seborrhoeic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections of the skin and nails, and benign skin lesions.
